I’m not one of those pretty screensavers.
I don’t have hypnotic, swirly lights.
I am not a fish tank.
I won’t display your name in crazy 3-D text.
I’m not even that colourful.
That’s because, in the end, what I really want you to do is turn me off.
Why?
Because if you can see me it could mean your computer doesn’t need to be on.
Which means it’s wasting energy, and, in its own small way,
helping add to the problem of global warming.
